The Most Critical Decision
We know choosing where your loved one resides is one of the most important and challenging decisions you face. Our mission is to ensure that each client is cared for and treated with compassion and respect. One of the first and most important decisions is whether your loved one will remain in their own home or if they need to be moved to an assisted living facility. It is a decision that has major implications for the well-being of your loved one and can have substantial financial consequences. Honoring Elders helps with that decision by providing you with an independent and objective evaluation of your loved one. Whether they are able to remain safely in their home or moved to an assisted living facility, you will be comfortable the decision made is the best. Making the right decision the first time is critical.
We are independent and objective in our evaluations and know almost every agency and facility in our service area. We do NOT accept referral fees or payments from home care agencies or facilities. We believe strongly that if you wish to have objective and independent advice, the advice cannot be paid for by a referral fee.
In-Home Services
If your loved one is going to stay in their own home, our nurses and social workers can oversee and provide support to home care aides. Home care is available through many agencies with services ranging from light housekeeping and errand running to live-in caregivers. We can interview, train and supervise caregivers from various agencies. We have a partnering relationship with Havenwood Home Care in Spokane and Boise, but we will work with any agency you select.
Since services are planned and managed by our professional staff, you can rest easy and be confident your loved one will be treated with the utmost compassion and respect. We can be there to help and support your decision.
Assisted Living Facility Referrals
If your loved one is going to move to an assisted living facility, it is critical to make the correct choice the first time. Moving a loved one more than once can be stressful on them and on you. It wastes time and can cost you thousands of dollars. We help pick the proper facility the first time, providing guidence to match your needs and financial resources with the facility that provides the best environment and care for your loved one.
